White Plains, NY team recognized for supporting Wreaths Across America stop
Our Shuttle & Transit team in White Plains, New York had the honor of transporting students from Elmsford Union Free School District the week of December 11th to welcome the Wreaths Across America convoy making a stop in the Village of Elmsford on the way to its annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
Wreaths Across America placed 2.7 million veterans’ wreaths across the country in 2022, including 257,000 veterans’ wreaths placed by nearly 28,000 volunteers at Arlington National Cemetery.
We thank bus driver Glanville Henry for representing our White Plains School Bus CSC, and send our appreciation to Village of Elmsford Mayor Robert Williams for recognizing General Manager Britt Liotta with this certificate for “Outstanding Service” in support of the occasion. We look forward to this special week Feb. 12 – Feb. 17, 2024!
The Village of Elmsford invited all residents and businesses to attend the ceremony marking the convoy’s only New York stop.
Here are smiles the school district shared on Instagram.
