NATA: Revival in public transportation – the benefits of private contracting

NATA: Revival in public transportation – the benefits of private contracting

Three years into the pandemic, the public transit industry faces a unique opportunity for revolution. In many major cities, decade-long practices are no longer relevant as our economy, and our country are forever changed. NATA, the North American Public Transit Alliance, shared its take on challenges outlined in a recent WSJ article. (Editor’s note: National Express Transit is a member of NATA).

It’s going to require innovation and agility to achieve change. NATA believes (as do we) that fostering stronger partnerships between transit agencies and private contractors is the key to revival.
